Compare on-premise SQL Server and Azure Databases
Compare on-premise SQL Server databases, from 2000 through 2022, all editions, and Azure Databases.
Use the traditional SQL Server/Windows Authentication, or Azure Authentication with all your databases.
Use the database primary keys, constraints and unique indexes to map data rows with each other and compare them,
or create custom keys via the data compare interface when a suitable constraint/index doesn't exist.
Map the database tables/views with each other instantly, using the default mapping rules, or create custom ones and map them in any way you like.
Compare the whole data, or just a portion of it for each mapped table, by specifying where clauses.
Use the data options to control the comparison features.

Licensing Options
Data Compare can be purchased with a 1-year / per user subscription. You can choose between the Silver Subscription and the Gold Subscription.
With a subscription you get additional tools and receive all patches and updates that are released during the time that subscription is active.
In addition to the subscription licenses, we can also provide temporary extensions, subscriptions longer than 1 year, volume licensing for large organizations,
third-party sellers or virtual environments. Other licensing types may be available as well. Just send us a note at sales@xsql.com

If you are looking to renew or upgrade an existing license, sign in to your account, click on the "My Licenses" link at the top bar and check the licensing renewal options that are available to you.
Data Compare supports SQL Server versions from 2000 through 2022, including the latest Azure Databases.
Requirements
Data Compare runs on Windows operating systems and requires .NET framework 4.6 or higher.
You must install also Azure Active Directory Authentication library in order to use the Azure Authentication feature.

Data Compare Editions: Licenses, Trial and Lite
Let us state, in order to avoid confusion, that there is only one package that you need to install, not three of them.
Edition is a state of Data Compare, which, depending on the licensing and the environment, could be one of the following:
Trial Mode: For the first 2 weeks after a new installation, Data Compare operates in the Trial mode. During this time, it is fully functional with no restrictions.
Lite Edition: When the 2-week trial ends, Data Compare switches to the Lite Edition if no license is found.
You can still compare SQL Server Express with no restrictions, but other SQL Server editions are limited to 25 tables and 40 views, procedures or functions (each).
Licensed Edition: It is enabled when you activate a license. The subscription license, that we provide, gives you full access to patches, updates and
all major releases that we publish during the time that your subscription is active.
We also provide free upgrade to any major build that has been released within 1 month of your purchase (subject to change).
